NEED SOME ADVICE
January 13, 2016, 04:03:22
Hi Guys,
I need some advice about what (green) specific coolant should i get for my car (2011 CRDi 1.6L)
I know it has be green
I know it has to be premix (ready to use)
I know it doesn't have to have more than 60% or less than 35% antifreeze
My only problem is that i don't seem to find the right brand with the right percentage.
Any suggestions of which brand should i get? or where should i get it from?
pd:i tried Repco and Supercheap Auto
cheers guys
Lee A.

Hi Lee...
For a start you shouldn't mix different brands of coolant so I hope you are gonna do a complete drain and replace?
As for green coolant, nothing stopping you going red instead...as is what I did, you just need to make sure all of the previous coolant is removed.
There's no need to buy premixed, just buy a "concentrate" and mix with distilled water to whatever ratio you require. Your manual should tell you what that should be.

Personally I'd just buy the Tectaloy 60 plus premix, much easier that having to calculate percentages

You can even use the 90 plus which is good for 4 years
