I know the i30 has been out for a while now so is there any word from Hyundai on a new i30 model, facelifted or whatever? Just curious to know. And I apologize if this has been asked before.
No real mention of any imminent changes anywhere. There has been some small speculation that the UK hatchback might get indicators (turn signals) on the rear view mirrors, but this is not substantiated in any way.
The 1.6CRDi engine production is in the processes of switching over to the updated U2 variant (at least in Nosovice factory) and will no doubt be fitted with a DPF to achieve next year's euro 5 emissions requirement. They then have the possibility to add 13bhp and 6 speed gear box I think.
Shortly the bosch battery management and idle stop-n-go variant will become available, but I think only in petrol to start with (I dont know for sure). This too is supposed to happen soon. (I personally wouldn't want one of these!)
