Here's what my car looks like after some melting snow, a drop to -20°C, and then a dusting of more snow. Temperature this morning is -21°, with a windchill that makes it feel like it's -28°C.

Cheers!

Michael

P.S.: Defrosters and heated seats work great!

Yep, been into amateur astronomy forever.

Also, the front "plate" is a sticker from Astronomy magazine. I can put it there since Québec only requires a license plate on the back.

Cheers!

Cool

I'm also an amateur astronomer, I own two telescopes. I love going out in the dark to watch the stars and galaxies :D

Tell her she's wrong, My biggest scope is an 8" Dobsonian from Orion, SkyQuest™ XT8 IntelliScope™.

I see lots of stuff with it, galaxies, nebulas, star clusters etc...

It has a small computer with it that shows you around the sky, I never use it.

The price is 530 USD, thats about 330 Pounds, It's a great price for something that looks like it costs ten times more

I'm pretty heavily involved in my astronomy group, the Ottawa Valley Astronomy and Observers Group (http://www.oaog.ca), and have my own observatory in my backyard (http://www.vasseur.ca/h89)

One of the reasons I bought the Elantra Touring was it's roominess for packing all kinds of stuff (telescopes, camping gear, etc) when I go out observing.

Another reason was (and still is) that it's a damn good car, and fun to drive :D
