Hello from Lithuania!

Got our Vivid Blue i30CW 1.6 CRDi Blue Drive (actually first BlueDrive in Lithuania) last week. Already tested it in difficult weather conditions (heavy snowfall, icy roads). I didn't like driving too much before, but it seems like it's starting to change...

And it's still strange when engine shuts down by itself at the red light :)

Welcome!

I've been keeping questions for the first person with ISG to sign up to the forum

Can I ask, what temperature does the engine have to be at before ISG works, I guess it does not stop the engine until it is warmed up?

How long is the delay from pressing the accelerator until it starts?

Do you have the option to switch ISG off?

I didn't notice exact engine temperature, and of course it has to be warmed up.
BTW, ISG is not activated when air temperature is below -5C. At one traffic light it even started up when temperature dropped from -5 to -6 :)

Engine stops when you put it into neutral gear and release the clutch pedal. It starts up again when you press the clutch. Start up is very smooth and without any delay (well, in normal traffic conditions, I didn't try it in drag races ;)). Ask me again in a few years, when the battery gets older (by the way, I think it's more powerfull than in non-ISG version).

And of course you can turn it off. I think it can get annoying if you're parking and waiting for someone to move his car or in situations alike...

Sounds like they have thought about the control a lot. Yes it does have a bigger battery, and the new adaptive bosch battery chargin circuits. It charges the battery more when you are braking, and less when you are accelerating.
