This older newbie saying hi to all.

This is such an informative forum I decided to join.

My i30 SLX is due "late March or early April" to Tasmania. I'm told patience is a virtue. Having never had to wait for a car before, I hope I'm a little virtuous as a result!

A big welcome KK..

There are only a handful of Tassie members and they are (mostly) fairly inactive...

Late March/early April will come soon enough. You just keep "coasting along" and the time will fly past

Welcome KK.  Nice to have another Tassie member.

They are a lot smaller than the cartoon one (about the size of a solid cat) but just as ferocious ... You don't come across them in the wild usually they would only attack a person if you tried to catch one (bite your hand off in a jiffy  )

Not more than .5 behind the wheel moxey.

Yes, Tasmania does have a small animal called the Tasmanian Devil. Many are suffering from a facial disease at the moment that's transmitted by them biting each other. Mind you that's nothing to do with this forum except that I hope no i30 1.6 crd1 with manual transmission runs over any in the fairly near future!

Och mon

More important not to run over an echidna. Makes a real mess of your tyres that does (throw aways).
Doesn't do the echidna much good either.
BTW. Welcome from Qld.
