Just ordered a N Line

Hi, after much search and discussion, we've ordered a i30 N Line from Hyundai Victoria Park, Perth. We wanted the Fluidic Metal colour but none were in stock. So it's been ordered in. We'll get it in a couple months. Shame about the wait. But it gives us a chance to save more and borrow less. It's a great compromise car for us DINKS. In the end it's the aesthetics that won us over and we didn't want another VW. Which reminds me, we'll need to sell our Passat wagon soon.

Welcome @Dantrasy .. You'll love that colour. I picked up my own N-Line Premium in that colour just over a week ago, the dealer at the time said there were only half a dozen in the country that the time.

Cheers,
Adz

Thanks for the welcome and the info about fluidic metal availability.

The dealer said the order would be made in May, then the car will be made/assembled in June, then delivered in July.

We also got tinting and scuff plates added.

Couldn't justify the extra 5.5k for the Premium. I 'think' cars with sun roofs cost more to insure anyway.

I thought the difference was closer to 4K. My previous car had a sunroof and heated seats which I barely used, so I couldn't justify it either. Later I discovered there were a lot of small things I would have liked on the Premium like Auto up and down windows all around (by remote) and LED headlights etc..

But, because I change cars pretty often I would probably lose less going the 2nd tier rather than the Premium anyway. A lot of the extra you pay for the Premium wouldn't be reflected in trade in price I'd imagine.
