A man has been banned from driving for three years after being caught drunk behind the wheel of a toy motor.

Police pulled over Paul Hutton after spotting him crawling along a public road at night in the 4ft battery-powered Barbie car - which has a top speed of just 4mph.

He refused to stop and after a very short, very low-speed, chase officers caught up and breathalysed him.
