Hi all,

I have noticed from looking at the pictures section that most crdi's have the crdi symbol in different locations. Is this something you choose or is this just dependant on which country you purchase the car?

Thanks.

Hi Orabas.. No you can't choose, the position depends on the country you are in...

Welcome, by the way if I haven't already.. you will not be disappointed... :D

Hi Dazzler, thanks  :)

I thought that would be the answer! Does anyone know what the layout is for a UK car?

I test drove a 1.6 crdi edition and it had "edition" under the i30 badge on the back and "crdi" on the side of the car. From looking at Andy's pictures https://i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,5586.0.html he doesnt have edition written on the back but he has crdi written lower down. Any ideas?

The badges are easily removed and refitted elsewhere if you want :)

My 2008 model has CRDi under the wing repeaters

My car didn't come with an Edition badge. I queried that and the sales guy told me he'd look into it. He's recently emailed me to tell me one is being sent from head office and will be here shortly. From the ones on the forecourt, it looked as though it had been put on the petrol models, but not the diesel ones.

If you don't get one and want one, just ask, I'm sure they'll sort it out for you.

Thanks Andy, I will wait and see what happens.

I believe my car is being prepared in Tilsbury at the moment. Any idea of how long the delivery times are from when the car is at this stage?

It took just under 2 months for me, but I think that's a slightly unusually long wait based on what the dealers said. I think (from what I've read) that between 3 - 6 weeks is the norm once the car arrives at Tilbury.

You won't be dissapointed when you get it, the cars are great, I'm dead chuffed :-)

Up until a short while ago the CRDi badges were by the indicator repeaters and none on the back. Now they have been deleted and you get one bigger CRDi badge on the tailgate instead.

This is for the UK. It varies by country for sure.

I think the i30 looks better with all the rear badges removed, just my opinion.

I would like my CRDi badge to be a little bigger (so people could see why they are having trouble keeping up)  :D
