My 2009 has always ground when ABS has been needed most desperately. Odd but it works.

Hi, If you slow to a stop on a smooth surface, without the ABS engaging, do you feel any vibration through the steering wheel? I had an I20 and after a few years, and  I believe  a large water puddle on the passenger side, I had a warped disc. It would still brake, but it would vibrate the steering wheel while braking. Also when I replaced it the wheel nuts were a lot harder to get off on that side, probably due to the excess heat generated by the wobbly disc. When I jacked up the front wheels and gave it a spin by hand, it would slow down at the same spot.
