G'day one and all, the wife and i have just put a deposit on a 2011 SLX Diesel auto. Not the full MY11 just the minor upgrade,  Darkwheels and Black headlight bezels. We paid $26,870.00 onroad with slimline plates.

It's sitting on the docks at Port Melbourne and we pick it up Thursday week..

We are downsizing from a 2005 Magna Solara, which has been a trouble free ride for just on 100k.

Well we finallypicked up the car this morning, drove home and had the windows tinted tis afternoon. Tint a Car Octane 35% on the front and Octane 20% on the rest, looks awesome.

One thing i noticed was the colour differs on the front and rear plastic bumpers than on the steel body, it has a slight yellowish tinge to it.

But looking at all the Hyundais in the yard regardless of colour they all differ a bit except the black ones....

Done 200 km so far and fuel was showing 5.4l/100km when we got home, we are going to Lavington on Saturday till Monday so about a 1000km return trip should be a good run for it and booked in for the first service on Tuesday morning...

Now the fun begins.....Cheers Gaz

I didn't know you could get anything below Octane 35% (legal Aus:) they told me (tint a car) all others (darker) only carry a 7 year warranty but octane carries a 25 year warranty, just shows how a big company like 'tint a car' can vary their policy from state to state.
