Ok reading through the forums iv noticed a few numbers being used instead of models example MY11? Now i just got my car, brand new and i was told it was the latest model and no changes were expected and nothing was in the pipeline, But ive read the MY11 comes with bluetooth which im not sure mine has.

Can someone help shed some light on the situation?

Heres some photos

It looks like the latest MY11 car. I think bluetooth is only on the MY11 australian cars (other members will confirm this). Keep in mind there are members from lots of countries and the specifications and trim levels (even body design, engines and gearboxes) vary a little from country to country.

Who knows, they introduced the MY11 cars in april, about 5 months ahead of schedule, presumaby to help with the post scrappage blues.

Whatever happens in the future with new models. you will still have a nice car, as folk with previous variants will testify too.

Your i30 looks fantastic Martin :D

I wouldn't put my mortgage on there being "nothing in the pipeline", but as Lorian says you seem to be bang uptodate.

(PS, thanks for hosting your pics privately - we do suffer the occasional glitch with attachments :))

UK I30's aren't changing for a while yet dude :)
Not aware of bluetooth being a standard option, I know the I20 2010.5 year has it standard, but no word of the i30 getting it. Your model is good :)

How do you know it is the latest model just by looking at the front?  Martin's looks exactly like mine, which was registered late March of this year.  Have I got an old 'un

The front spoilers are dramatically different for the MY2011 and the MY2010(UK versions). MY2011 also features Eco-Drive Indicator, front fog lights as standard, side skirts as standard as you will also notice the rear spoiler is lower than the MY2010 to line up with the side skirts. You can not fit the crosskit to a MY2011 as it sort of has it on already. Apparently gear lever also changed.

There is a summary of changes here
