Hi have just purchased a 57 Hyundai 2.0 CRDi. Lovely car to drive and very quick. Have just a few minor things to talk about if any one out there . Five days ago i had  a TPMS valve break, this was actually covered on the amazing 5 year warranty and replaced. The other thing is that there is a knocking noise on the front passenger side, sounds like a spring or something? Also the back passenger door handle came off while opening but was able to fix. Has anybody else had any of these problems. One more thing how many shades of blue do Hyundai's have.

Welcome Crocket...As you can see I'm about as far away as anyone can be but I can help you a bit (I'm that sort of guy )

The TPMS valve issue is fairly common if you search the forum you will find various suggestions on how to limit the risk.. A knock in the back for cars made in the European factory is more common than than a knock in the front.

The door handles coming off  is very rare!

and there are quite a few shades of blue worldwide but only two in the UK according to your website...

Ice blue and Vivid Blue...

Some countries get a dark navy blue, We used to own a moonlight blue (now discontinued) and as well as Vivid Blue in Australia we get Sky Blue and Clean Blue (which are fairly similar to each other and both a bit lighter than Ice blue..

Edit: If you browse the picture galleries on here you should find an example of each colour or you could wait for my upcoming Youtube slideshow which should have some shots of ever colour I think...

welcome crocket.  the knocking in the front could be a strut.  the UK delivered i30 is a Czech built car,so you get different colors to us Aussies.   i have never heard of a door handle breaking in the 2 years I've been a member of this excellent club.

Hi crocket, I have a knocking noise on my 08 petrol with 28k miles, was told it's excess play in offside front drop link. May be covered by warranty or classed as wear and tear dependent on mileage but couldn't get a definite answer.

Hi crocket

I had a knocking at the front and had an anti-roll bar replaced under warranty on mine.

Also had two TPMS valves replaced under warranty :goodjob: :goodjob:
