:happydance: well finally bit the bullet and traded my fuel thirsty Subaru forester gt for an i30!

Been 18months of working out my finances but got a 2009 auto sx with 7x, xxx kms.

Drove nice, punchy, no reverese issues like I read here on some.

Was only getting 300km a tank of 95octane fir the suby city driving. Bout 15lt per 100km

So if I get 600km or more a tank from this mrs will be estatic. Also a lot roomier than sf foerestor on the interior

Bro,  you will do it easy.....even round town..... :whistler:

Start counting the savings and put them to good use.

We also went from a  '"Suby ...'98 Liberty" to the i30.

Enjoy!!!

Thanks folks, I have to refrain from mods. I promised  :whistler:

Yeah 75k it's barely loosening up still

This site helped reaffirm my decisions to get one, and can't believe how roomy it is compared to forester. The front seats, rear seats head, foot and seat room is so much bigger , 40mm across rear hip width alone!

And such a deep boot meant I didnt need the cw.

sounds like there might have been something wrong, or it needed a tune up,  my 99 Forester GT gets about 9.7 around town and 8.9 on the open road.  (yes i have an app for that)  Manual and running a 40mm WRX turbo and STI intercooler and cat back exhaust.  everything else is stock except roof racks, and super sticky Adrenalin tyres.  i usually run with 98 PULP most times, and it has just on 250,000km now.    though im not sure what milage a newer far larger forester uses and i could just be talking crap then about your consumption..
