Whilst on my way home today I saw another i30 involved in an crash. I have seen quite a few crashes in recent times, including another one involving an i30.
I didn't see the lead up to it, but I was stationary at the traffic lights waiting to go straight ahead and cars on my left were given a green light. I had cars in front of me and alongside me.
I heard a car horn which drew my attention to the intersection and just to my right and I saw the impact. The i30 T-boned the driver's side of a Commodore.
From what I could gather, the i30 was turning right correctly and the Commodore turned right illegally from the left hand lane alongside the i30 and then turned right in front of the i30.
As I said, I didn't actually see the lead up, just the actual collision.
It spun the Commodore around (it was a pretty hard hit) and it had extensive damage to its right hand side but after it stopped spinning it just took off and kept driving, leaving the i30 stranded in the middle of the intersection. So a hit/run.
I managed to snap this photo on my phone as I drove past but I wasn't able to get to it due to traffic coming towards me, plus there are extensive roadworks at that intersection and I didn't want to cause another one. And unfortunately I wasn't able to get the number of the Commodore.

For this H/R, so far we have:

Stolen car;
Under the influence of alcohol;
Under the influence of drugs.

Possibly all of the above in truth. I wonder what other reasons he could have had?
Needed to go to the bathroom urgently perhaps?  :lol:
Can't stand the sight of blood?
Heard a slight noise but thought it was just his glovebox lid falling open?  :whistler:

Either way, a pretty low act.

I would have if I wasn't stuck at a red light with cars in front, alongside and behind me.
By the time I got a green he was long gone.
