Have just watched the video, though I saw the link a time ago, but decided to put it off.
Well, I wouldn't like to be in that guy's shoes, for sure. The girl was really shocked, but she might agree at last, once she has pondered over the proposal with her mind clear and being left alone.
That guy should have prepared his girlfriend for the next step in their relationship, mentally.
