Last year in Australia there was no TV coverage of the WRC. In the past, SBS, Foxtel and Channels 10/1 have run it. Also in the past, if you wanted to see anything more than brief clips and news bulletins on the WRC website you had to pay for it.

I've just discovered that you can now view the full footage as would have been shown on TV here for free on the WRC website. I have just watched all of the Monte. Some great stuff and I can't wait for Sweden in a couple of weeks.

I'm not sure whether it's the same in other countries. I wonder if the website can tell where you are logged in from and if they have no local TV deal, you get access. maybe someone in the UK and some Euro countries can check.

Anyway, after a year of withdrawal symptoms. 2013 is looking good.

Toward the bottom of the page are limks to Highlights Days 1-4
If you open them up they are each between 15 and 25 minutes long.
We used to get half hour shows a few hours after each day of a rally shown on TV here. These "highlights" are exactly what we got, even with space for the insertion of ads.

I found these during the Monte, I was really impressed with VW's first full race and look forward to the i20 WRC doing the same giant killing job this time next year!
