I suspect population proportion hasn't been factored in, either. Not to mention that if you can barely afford a car, you might not be insured and therefore not be counted! :disapp:

I posted in here this morning. Wonder where it went.

My point was that as it's numbers of claims per 1000, we can assume that's 1000 of the particular occupation (job title), so upper of lower income groups or % of car ownership wouldn't affect the findings.
They're basically comparing 1000 fruit pickers with 1000 doctors.
The only thing which might have some bearing on the accuracy would be the area in which the majority of the various groups live.

OK, 'dude, I'll own up to sloppy analysis, something you won't see from the political parties. :whistler:

Hmmmm, 8 of the 25 "lowest" claimants are in driving related jobs, suggesting to me that if the survey is based on the claims made against their own motor vehicle then they will obviously be low, after all they spend most of their time in a vehicle belonging to (and insured by) someone else.

Guess I had better look for another job, because I am more likely to have a claim sitting in my lab than that truck driver according to this!

And who would have guessed that a "Body Repairer" would be less likely to have an insurance claim.
