A bit of a mixture .. Some from the Launceston Model Show a month or so ago and the rest from this Weekends Hobart Model Show which was held at the Glenorchy Transport Museum.. Hence the full size equipment..

My Wife Trish is a HO model Train Fan (will post some pix of her fairly large layout when the latest version is closer to completion) Many of these photos were taken by me to give her some scenery ideas...

However, for me, this is by far the best as it's like a complete suburb encapsulated by multiple tracks. Minimal use of plastic looking airy fairy stone, bush and tree rubbish:

You should have said "so" instead of "but", that would relate the dolls to your daughters. The "but" to me implied that the two items weren't related. Therefore, oh shoot, I'll shut up now...

The qaulity of the full size trains were real rubbish though compared to your York Museum .. hopefully our health will hold up so we can come over for a look in the next couple of years...

We have a couple of well restored trains at the Don Railway only about 4 kms from our place though

Fantastic pics, thanks for sharing. The Canada Science and Technology museum has a mighty collection of trains as well. Some of the bigger pieces are oil powered steam locomotives and coal locomotives that are screw fed from the bunker (automatic stoking). Great big things they are.
