Not working for me either, he was ok @ 10:00 hrs today, but who knows. The windy weather squall was headed directly for their house.

A fair few trees down but I have been a bit lucky so far (touch wood)

While I was at home this morning my work lost power for over 2 hours and then it came up before I got to work.

Shortly after I headed to work at 12.30PM Trish lost the power at our house and it took them until about 6.30 PM to fix it (So I only had no power for half an hour) Maybe I should get a lottery ticket L.O.L.

Asa, in Tasmania, when the power goes off, you just throw the contents of your freezer out on the lawn.

It's ok asa ... modern freezers are well insulated.

They are that.
We lost power in Sydney after a particularly vicious storm took out most of NW and N Sydney a few years ago. Power was off to our house for 2 and a half days. Didn't open the freezer until it came back on and everything was still rock solid.
