Just Like to say hello. My daughter has just bought a new i30 Elite (red ) picked it up today, boy is she excited, anyhow I was so impressed with it I am going to trade in the 2005 BF Falcon in a few weeks and get one myself. Not allowed to get a red one like hers so I am going for a sleek silver  ( match my hair ) Well I have a couple of questions to ask you knowledgable people but I don't think this is the right place to do it so I will go to the hopefully correct part of the forum.

           Cheers John B.

Nothing like a good daughter to convince you to trade in your old car! Glad she loves her new set of wheels - you will love yours, too!
Welcome to the forums, by the way! :)

G'day mate,

If the question is should I have traded my Falcon....

I signed for my CW, the EL killed itself the next day....

Two years later I traded the wife's BA.

Do I regret either, not for a second....

I hope you got a diesel

Thank's for the welcome Rustynuts, Hi Beerman, I  am pretty sure I won't regret trading in the Falcon as it was getting to the sort of kilometres where the trans start playing up. I did not get the diesel as I just would not do the kilometres to justify the extra cost, performance wise I would have loved it. I probably could have got the Active with a diesel but I took the choice of getting the Elite petrol with the extras. The other factor was service cost although the fuel economy they tell me is very good.

 Cheers John.
