Thank you for the replies all , most exceptionally helpful .

I road test tomorrow and am now be armed with lots of info to bargain with .

At Dazzlers behest I have posted a few pics and a bit of info about the CZC in Members 'other' rides for those who may be interested ,--

07 Mitsubisi CZC small troublemaker.

--and no I won't be keeping the CZC when I change over to something larger , parking and running costs have me knackered on more than two cars.

And hey Rick , I'd be delighted to catch up if you visit Hervey Bay, -- :)

Phil - something made Hyundai (in Korea, or just here in Oz?) put the stickers on cars sometime after I bought mine in Dec 07.  My car did not have such a sticker.  Some other CRDi buyers must be tight-arses like me, looking for great fuel economy.  Tightarses might also like to do their own oil changes - and possibly get it wrong.

That problem will always be there when buying a used car.

What is the worse..

1. Car serviced by owner with wrong oil but owner have taken very good care of the car.
2. Car serviced at dealer with correct oil, but owner have driven the car like is was stolen.

You just never know what you get...

I've been lucky so far... :happydance:

I postulate another another all to common scenario  --

3. Or a car serviced by a dealership using the 'dealership' oil , which is often an 'as good as' brand , which many do.

As  you say "You just never know what you get..."
