Quote from: AlanHo on February 20, 2014, 16:36:49I hope it turns out OK asa. As it happens, it would not be practical to use the CD slot mount in my car - so I have mounted my Nuvi on a disk stuck to the top of the dash to the right of the steering wheel and opposite the door pillar (my car has a triangular window at the front between the door and A pillar) in such position that it is line of sight with the thick A pillar and not taking any windscreen area or front side window area.Oh Alan, ya don't have to be coy, we all understand... I to have some old CDs I like to listen too, not as old as yours obviously, mine are more GARAGE and HOUSE... Yours are more Joseph Locke and Vera Lynne, there's nowt wrong with listen to your old war time music on your CD player.Enjoy them turn up the volume

How does it interface with the CD slot? The CD player would react to pressure and try to draw the 'CD' in. How exactly is the tongue shaped to avoid damaging the CD mechanism?
Nowadays when I stop to lean on a lamp post at the corner of the street - it's to get my breath back.
There goes your Xmas present, Alan.
I'll be playing with mine later
