Well, having done a few more 'long runs' in my relatively new i30 1.4 Petrol, I can say that I am very pleased with the mpgs I'm getting.
Did a couple of runs from Brighton to Ipswich, along with numerous trips to London and other parts of the Coast, and I have been averaging around 54 mpg on Motorway runs and roughly around 36 - 39 mpg in town. Baring in mind the BlueDrive 1.6 I just traded back in didn't even give me these returns, I am very happy indeed with my lilttle 1.4.
