They stopped importing the i45 (current Sonata) into Australia because it got off to a bad start (poor reviews of ride and handling) plus, I'm guessing too much overlap with i40. I have a feeling they might bring it back next year as the Sonata again.

I believe we might get a hybrid Honda Accord next year so Hyundai might bring in a Hybrid Sonata if they revitalize the Sonata badge.
