Well whadda you know?  The i40 does have a locking glove box, it is also hidden in a slope and since I have had it for nearly two years and only just found it you can tell two things ;
1.  I don't read manuals unless absolutely stuck.
2.  I don't lock my glovebox.

As said about the GD, the i40 also has the push fuel flap which is inoperative if the car is locked.

I think that sloping lid is why I haven't noticed either of our locks before!
  • 2021 MG PHEV ( had 4 x i30 plus a Getz an Elantra and a Tucson)
