A Lincolnshire man – surely Britain’s most brazen driver - has incurred what could be the biggest ever parking fine for ignoring over 140 tickets in a single year.
David Lee, 37, built up the whopping £14,000 fine by repeatedly parking his Ford Mondeo in disabled spaces in dozens of private car parks across Lincoln.
He has already been served with four county court judgements totalling more than £3,000 by Leeds-based firm UK Car Park Services (UKCPS).
And the firm intends to issue a further £10,000 worth of charges before the courts, as well as an estimated £1,000 in costs.
