well, it's that time of year again around here. First big snow of the season and the first with my i30.

I've found the traction control is particularly aggressive compared to other cars I have had.

Also suffering TPMS hell since it's gone from +18 to -13 in a few weeks.

Does the TPMS show error because the temp now is colder and the tyre pressure then is lower..?

I thought the TPMS only would report an error if there was a difference in pressure between the tyres...

Nice piccies, however, please feel free to keep the snow over there.  We're having a mild Autumn/fall over here  :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob: :goodjob:

from what I can gather over the various cars i've had with it (it was mandated in the US in 2007) is that any major change in pressure will trip it. either a leak or a change in temperature will do it

So it will behave if you just raise the pressure a little bit...

If I remember correct about how the system works on the VW's then it would only alert if there was a difference in pressure between tyres.

ugh, 33c :P sounds fantastic. i added air so all the tyres are the same pressure today (35psi) so we'll see if that helps.
