Hello all, just picked up our slx cridi manual this morning and when we ordered it we knew that cruise control was not an option however a few weeks into our wait we told that all new cars that are plated from May would now include factory fitted cruise control and this would not be an extra cost to us.  We were very happy.

But when we picked it up this morning there was no factory fitted cruise control,

Mate, I ordered mine in Late April. It was to be a late June delivery, I did order it with after market cruise.. When I found out about the Factory change and the theory of May build cars, I contacted my Dealer and advised them of this. Recently I was advised that this change was not going to be on the May Build cars but was scheduled to be on the June build cars. I told the dealer I would wait for the Factory fitted CC in my car. My car is now due in early August. the dealer has been told by Hyundai that it will have the factory CC.. So time will tell..

Hey yes well I wish we had also been adivsed of that.  I even rang them last week and they still promised that it would be there....and I guess in their eyes it was, just not fatory fitted.   We have already waited a few months for them so another month or so would not have been a problem.  I am sure yours will come out with the factory cruise if its due around August.

Other than that we are very pleased with the car even though its not even a day old yet!!

Thanks for the heads-up Lou - I'll email my dealer tomorrow to say I'll wait for the factory cruise.

Delivery is supposed to be in Aug/Sept so I should be OK but just in case...
