Don't think this has been posted before. If they put the i40 Diesel engine in it, I'd have one.. I like sedans more than hatches. More boot space with seats up.

I like it.
Interesting comment about intrusive tyre noise though.
When will Hyundai listen?  :undecided:

Sounds like it needs a diesel option. Also an i30 badge and it would be top selling Australian car.

I'm sure they are listening but it seems it's not an easy issue to fix...
Read reviews of the Hyundai's competitors and you'll find similar comments...  :undecided:

Although Mazda reckon they know how to fix it: :link: Mazda finds fix for noisy Achilles heel

They can't hear you because of all the tyre noise.  :P

Some of Tassie's roads are that cold lay bitumen which is noisy in my Calais and wasn't even that quiet in the Hybrid! The latest roads to be resurfaced seem better (they must be learning)  :happydance:

Looks same as old Elantra just grill & boot change. my father had one. 1.8 petrol auto. he sold got the new model i30 petrol auto. i drove the elantra a lot & had to drive it from Sydney back here to deliver to new owner. only thing i don't like id the rear window seems to collect dust & there is no windscreen whipper . so sometimes hard to see through rear view mirror. this was reason my father sold it & got the new i30. he looked at a new mazda latest model but got better deall with i30, he likes the i30 rear view monitor built into the dash ( i don't use it when i drive his car. i'm sure this new elantra would perform same as the i30, but my fathers new i30 feels like it performs slightly better than the elantra, i think his new i30 auto trans could be different ? as it feels like it has more response off the mark. but both use same amount of fuel. he never resets his trip computer & it's always reading around 9L /100K ( only drives in sydney traffic ) doing same type of driving with my old FD CRDi 6 speed manual i was averaging 5.2 to 5.5 L/100k but diesel lot better pulling up hills!!
