I suppose another issue comes up if UK leaves the EU. Thousands of Britons have left Britain to go and live in the Sun, i.e. Spain, Portugal. So what would happen to them, being a citizen of a non EU country? Would Spain/Portugal kick them out, back to UK or make them relinquish their UK nationality in order to live permanently in Europe? The mind boggles. 
Likely to be allowed to remain over there, though a lot of them are old and need medical services which would need a new agreement to be signed with the government so the UK picks up the bill as it does now. Similar for state old age pensions, unless there are reciprocal agreements they would never increase with inflation etc as they would now. I bet most of the EU residents will vote to stay in.
Campaigning has been called off for a short while due to the murder of a Northern Labour MP, killed by a right-wing nutter it seems. Though probably nothing to do with the referendum.
