I think that would be different in Australia. I'm sure with our warmer climate white would be a lot more popular and black less so...

Agreed, Dazz.
I'd be surprised if white doesn't go close to 50% of the cars on the road here.
I read somewhere that, worldwide, the most popular car model is white Corollas.
Edit: white is 21% according to a 2015 survey.
Then grey and then silver. (don't know how they differentiate those two, TBH)

Afghan terrorists use white Corollas for bombs as the most common type around. Wouldn't be caught dead in one. :whistler:

An increase of 84% in brown cars?  Whilst it makes a good headline there probably wasn't that many to start with and so achieving a significant rise is not that difficult!

I would suggest that in the UK white is also one of the most popular colours for no other reason than white is "free".  The premium applied to many of the bolder colours is anything upwards of £500 and some folks find that a bit of a turn off, I sort of agree, if I am giving you £25K why can't I just have the colour I want without extra cost?

I guess the flip side is if you are spending £25K why does £500 matter? :crazy2:
