The UK "What Car" magazine have done it again, and again, and again.
If it isn't a German car it gets a biased report.
In the recent What Car magazine they publish an article comparing SUV's and their so-called "Real mpg"
The Niro is slammed for being the most inaccurate of all the cars with a KIA claimed 74.3 mpg but their test produced 50.1 mpg. They tested the Niro 3 and used the Niro 2 official figures. Hence their claim that the Niro was the most inaccurate manufacturer's claim is bullshit - it was actually the most accurate.
I get incensed about this inaccurate reporting because many people regard the printed word as gospel - and that is far from reality.
The reality is that they achieved 64 mpg on their road test and the KIA official figure is 64.2 mpg for the Niro 3
Rant over - I'll get my coat.
And this is taken from their road test
