Hi all, just trying to find out some info on fitting aftermarket audio control for steering wheel.

Rather than send them the questions, I'd ask the specialists (i30 owners club)

     Has anyone done it
     Does it have to be installed professionally
     Are all the components included with the module to do the job
     Is there are wiring loom from the radio to the steering wheel in situ, or is there a connection point
     If neither do you have to run wiring, and if so how complicated is it

     Does it have to be installed professionally      YES THROUGH THE DEALER
     Are all the components included with the module to do the job        NO ALL COMPONENTS ARE SEPARATE
     Is there are wiring loom from the radio to the steering wheel in situ, or is there a connection point    ONLY ON SLX AND SR MODELS
     If neither do you have to run wiring, and if so how complicated is it      VERY COMPLICATED BUT DOABLE WITH THE CORRECT DIAGRAMS, TOOLS FOR REMOVING AIRBAG, STEERING WHEEL AND SQUIB AND CORRECT WIRING CONNECTORS AND TERMINALS
