Well I finally got to 50,000 kms on 21st December almost exactly 21 months since I picked up my CRDi

and no warranty claims yet (although I have a very small fault on one of my internal door handles which will have to be sorted -see separate posting)

If anyone has come up with a better compromise of performance and economy in a reliable, affordable package I haven't seen or heard about it...

Thanks Hyundai for my great car and the good friends I have made on this site

Congratulations Dazz!!

I'm sitting on 49 000 km after 20 months....will probably reach 50 000 km
at 21 months also!!

And just one minor warranty issue with an accessory (the plastic bonnet protector).

Thanks for all the friendship and good will you have generated on this site.

Your centre gauges are different to mine. I have temperatures rather than "C" and "H" and Number of litres on the fuel gauge.

Here's to the next 50K!

The instrument cluster is the same as mine, this will be the Korean version, yours will be the Euro.

Congratulations Dazz, i.m just shy of 50,000 49,???? in 19 months, build date april08 delivered may 08. no problems, but i have not had problems with new cars in ages. some friends have but not me. after 100,000k you start to  see how good they are. new yars weekend i will have to do another 1,000k trip then will be past the 50,000 mark. how will the value be? do you think the higher k's effects value a lot?

I reckon we are about 15 to 20 K above average for vehicles age, I would expect to take a hit for about A$1000 if trading. Forget who it was but someone on here recently had 100K up on a 2008 Model (I reckoned that would have cost them around A$2000 in their trade in price (IMHO)  There are a few of us with around the same mileage on 18mth plus vehicles including Russ..

I don't have any "k"s on Fergie, but she has covered 36,500 miles :D

A couple of issues outstanding (steering rattle and rear washer pump) but I can live with those until the dealership has yet another try at fixing them

First of all well done Dazz for cracking the big 50k! It's been good 'travelling' with you for some of those km's...........

Hope the next 50k is as trouble free as this has been! They really are a great car.

Secondly don't forget me! I think I'm on 492xx at the moment, I should hit the 50k around new years!

Not to get into a p1$5ing contest but that'll be about 13.5months since I got mine.........

I don't really want to think about how much the extra kms will affect trade-in/sale price.

Regards

Daniel
