A website called PleaseRobMe claims to reveal the location of empty homes based on what people post online.

The Dutch developers told BBC News the site was designed to prove a point about the dangers of sharing precise location information on the internet.

Interesting reading Lester... Although just because one resident is away from home doesn't guarantee the house is empty... for example someone could post on here they are taking a trip to another state or country between x and y dates but who knows if their partner or adult children are not still at home...
