Hi all, apologies if message is a little long . i have a question about Hyundai towbars .Question Probably aimed mostly at our Aussie owners as our towbars are a little different to other parts of the Globe . That said has anyone got a genuine T/B fitted to their 2016 GD 5 door hatch ? The reason I ask is I have a T/B and would like to make sure it's the correct one before I try installing it . I have tried multiple Hyundai dealers but they can't supply a part number .If you have one fitted would you be kind enough to get me a pick of your T/ B compliance stickers this will give the the individual part numbers , Towbar and tongue have seperate part numbers . Hope this makes sence . Thanks in advance

This is the best I could find,  if in doubt,  call them tomorrow and supply VIN .
A part number is listed.

It might be worth searching the part numbers you have on Google and on here. If yours has these number still readable. Sort of like a reverse search.

Thanks guys ,yep tried google and  called multiple dealers in different states just in case one was smarter than the other . It seems they only have the part number like the eBay listing and that's for a complete unit , towbar tongue and wiring .They just don't know how to look at the bar itself  and get a number , they can't supply or see a pic to even give some idea of the shape of the thing . But thanks anyway  for the suggestions .

That's because it's sold as a kit, not individual. It's also unlikely they keep any in stock either.

I have a feeling though they may be Hayman Reese.

Hi Tw2005, thanks for the reply . Your correct its a kit part number . Yes the T/B style is like a previous suggestion and eBay link .  And yes It is very Haman R style .  Hayman R towbars don't make the square section removable tongue for 2016 GD 5 door hatch ,only supply for  a wagon . Spoke to quiet a few H/R company's as that was my first option .Only Hyundai Make the square section removable tongue for my model ..Haha it's funny yet frustrating a simple little car could have such a complex tow bar .
