Hi to everybody in this nice company !!!
Everyday we see new "goods" for our cars  and as we say here in Greece"my mouth starts dripping" such as the the black headlights (and especially now with angel eyes) the led tail lights alloy wheels and etc....
But all these costs and costs a lot...
And to this point I think we can do something.Does anyone agree with me?

Thanks for the offer, but group buys here aren't for me mate - not until I know the people here personally ...and well enough to trust them with my hard earned cash. I'd warn anyone to be very careful about getting involved with group buys where you give your money to a third party you don't know. Naturally this is not a comment on your personal honesty, KKOM.  ;)

Hey KKOM,

The other problem we have with this excellent suggestion is our geographic separation (we are spread out all over the world) If enough members are interested in a particular product, for example LED tail lights I could try and negotiate a discount (say 10%) for members?

Thoughts please from our members...

Member discounts are a possibility but probably only within a country.

Group buys are an issue in Australia when you import the items after buying in bulk.  They will attract both import duties and 10% GST.  On another forum (4WD) this was mentioned when members were interested in purchasing a bulk lot of ScanGuage II devices (see another thread I started for details of this device).  It was pointed out that individual purchases would get through customs without any issues, but bulk lots would ring bells and taxes would be applied.  I also experienced thispersonally when I purchased LED downlights for my house.  My first purchase was around $200 and they got through, but the next lot was over $400 and I had to pay over $120 in tarrifs and taxes.
