I've just upgraded to a 2017 Mk3 i30, having owned a 2015 Mk2 for the last few years.
Before I make a right mess of things, does anyone know if the roof bars that fitted my Mk2 are compatible with the Mk3, or do I need to buy new "feet" to attach them with?
Thank you.

I can't answer you.
But most of the major roof bar manufacturers have very comprehensive web sites.
You should be able to get details from there as the ones I've seen actually have different part numbers for the feet.
I remember how confusing it got when I was trying to find different (longer) bars for my existing footpads.

Jump onto whatever manufacturer your bars are and check the difference between the kit will be the easiest

I have Thule bars - and the same bars and feet I used on my MK1 i30 (2009) fit perfectly on my MK3/PDE 2019 - I just had to loosen then and adjust the width the first time I used them as the new car is a little wider. Your mileage may vary.
