Hi guys, so I just bought a 62 plate Hyundai i30 and I've noticed that when switching from Park, into Reverse or Drive it kind of lurches and makes a goaning noise. I've had an i20 which was always smooth and never had this, so I'm a bit worried.

How's the service history? Specifically, has it been serviced at the recommended intervals including trans fluid inspection/changes?

Your topic title says "Car Lurching When Changing Gear" so does that mean you get this lurching when the gearing shifts, or just when moving into drive/reverse from Park?
