I thought at first this was a pisstake (sorry ) but when the photographer had to duck down low behind the  dash to avoid detection as the subject got closer to his car, i decided it was genuine.
Many (oh, so many) years ago the Renault Car Club of Qld headed off from Brisbane to Rockhampton to for a long weekend. We stayed overnight on the Friday night in the YMCA rooms in Gladstone, upstairs overlooking the street. Our membership included Peugeots and Citroens in those days as they didn't have their own clubs.
So, anyway one member had a Citroen DS19 which, as you may remember used to "sleep" at the bottom of its suspension travel - pretty much on the ground.
Anyway, this drunk was walking past with a paper bag of 6 long necks (no stubbies back then) and he spots the Citroen.
Well, he's staggering like old mate in the clip above and walks past the car looking back at it, does the classic walk into a lamp post, drops his beer. Bends down and gathers up the two remaining bottles, goes back and staggers around the car a couple of times and wanders off back the way he came (to the pub).
There were probably 20 of us upstairs watching by this time and just about p*ssing ourselves laughing.

Poor guy.

I am not a big drinker by any means (probably only been "drunk" about 3 or 4 times in my life and not for more than 15 years..)

But once I remember drowning my sorrows at a work function and walking (staggering) about 4kms home.. don't think I was anywhere near as bad as that .. but I do remember getting home with an arm full of junk mail that I had pinched out of letter boxes on the way home

My worst was having "too many" at a function on Magnetic Island once and having to suffer the ferry ride back into Townsville the next morning - with a heavy SE swell running across the beam.

Once caught the bus to Banchory from Aberdeen, a trip of some 18 miles which took the bus best part of an hour.  Last bus in those days left Aberdeen at 11.00pm, so I staggered on and he journey commenced.  Woke up when the bus parked at the terminus in Ballater, some 30 miles further than I needed, this bus was stopping for the night, so the driver kindly let me sleep across the back seat and took me back to Banchory first thing in the morning

The other time I started walking home from the pub in the centre of Banchory and decided that I would take the old railway line part of the way home.  "Woke up" having (sleep) walked the 5 miles to Crathes, had to about turn and walk 4 miles back to get home

you actually died?? HOLY **** beats my drinking stories...

worst ive done is, we went out up the coast (sunshine coast) to some random RSL/dodgy venue, i got bored had a few beers, then my mate (now boss)was like lets go back (me, gothic mates, and BIG BEC, guess who was in the front of my bosses car LOLOLOL)

so i said, bra lets stop in at the bottle"o", i get a bottle of rum, 2 1.25L bottles of coke, we drive back to redcliffe (10km from home) i proceed to drink the bottle of rum in about 1 hour... get maggot blind, and the last thing i remember is...

dropping my smoke at the beach front in one of those seating areas and saying "hahaha look it at roll" then chasing it as the wind blew it down the path

the moring didnt bring fun... i woke up in a tent i got stuck in because i was too drunk still to move needing a massive pee-pee, i was wearing pajamas 3 sizes too small, smelt like vomit... but that wasnt the worst part... i had vomited in my mates new car, smashed my phone, smashed my goth friends shower screen, crapped my pants because i was too blind to pull them down, been hosed down by my current boss whilst naked, ruined the toilet...

yer its probably i good thing i dont drink too much anymore aye

another time my mate '"dosed me" and i ended up vomiting in a bucket then dropping my glasses in it... that was bad, i almost cried

i have stopped for a "nap" a few times too LOL

ive  been pulled up by the cops right out the front of my house riding a bike... LOL i think i was 17~18ish god knows how i rode the bike/where it came from, all i remember is the cop putting the lights on, asking me where i lived, then my mother coming to the front door yelling at me for being pissed...

the cop left saying, "looks like your gonna get it worse from her than me"
