Hi folks
I have had a great run from my 2011 i30 since I first purchased new in 2011.
It's now clocked up 320,000 ks and still running well with only a few parts required outside the usual service parts, ie brake pads, tires, etc. A new alternator, air-con compressor, internal door handle to name a few, all quite inexpensive really. It beena great car.
I'm now looking at buying a small Jayco Swift camper trailer and the tare weight posted is 900 Kgs (Touring) or 1130 Kgs ( Outback) models.
Question... will my i30 be capable of doing the job o/k or do I need to buy something with more grunt ?
If its marginal, has anyone any experience in extracting more power from this 2 litre petrol motor if possible ?
I would expect to replace / upgrade the rear shocks and or springs if required to aid handling if required.
Any suggestions would be very helpful..
