Hi everyone, any advice would be appreciated, I have no real mechanical knowledge but my 1.6 CRDi diesel’s timing chain is beginning to make rattling noises… I’ve serviced it every year since i purchased it in 2019… does anyone on here have a rough idea of cost (parts and labour £) my garage has been vague saying it could have a 6 hour cost or it could take 10+ hours if the whole engine needs to come out.
Any advice would be appreciated
