Not on mine it isn't.

Manual only describes the beep sequence, will ask at dealership tomorrow.

just wonder what happens when you tow a trailer & have reversing sensors? ( i'm deaf so can't use those sensors) , but have driven cars with reversing camera's i like them.

That is a good question john (I have both sensors and a camera  :D)

I guess if the sensors stop beeping you know you've lost your trailer  :idea:

i would assume they beep!! but only in reverse where the sensors are active!

I installed a switch in the back of mine to dis-arm the sensors wenever i tow the jet ski trailer. Was simple enough to do, mien were factory fit, so located the module behind the time in the boot, and tapped in.
They really do annoy the life out of you when they go on steady and hi pitched.

My Hybrid is the first car I have had with reversing sensors. It has an on and off switch on the dash. As someone said they only work when you are in reverse but would still be annoying when trying to reverse a trailer (if you couldn't switch them off)

I'm glad I have them as the fish eye reversing camera makes things look a lot further away than they are  :eek:
