My plastic caps are of the same colour. After several months of grubbiness, brake dust hided them nicely

Update:: well the tint is coming off and being replaced. They have put the wrong film on!!!! Midnight Express instead of Octane. Still paid for Octane though... 13 Dec she'll be in for the proper stuff. Grrrrrr

New tints all done and a much better job than the first one as well, also put on some "Slimline Smoke Weathershields" on the front and rear door windows.

Opa-1, Not really Holden territory, I just sold 2002 AU111 XR8, and a 2005 Mitsubishi Magna Solara.

The HZ is a 2 owner 5.0l 4 speed, GTS dash, Buckets, Full Length Console, a bit like a poor mans Monaro hahaha.

The VR Calais 5.0l 5 speed is what I drive to work and fang around the Hillclimb track near home, also did the Phillip Island 6 Hour, and Sale Sprint meet in it this year.

There is also a 93  Diesel-Gas Troopcarrier for camping and 4wd trips.

Iv'e never had a brand allegiance except for when the old Valiants were around, just bought what i liked at the time. I have had over 60 cars in the last 35 years (young and foolish) and i used to do terrible things to them and break them but that has served me well with a better understanding mechanically and a much more sympathetic driving style now.  

But we are really enjoying the i30 so far ............cheers Gaz

Had a HQ panel van HZ Kingswood a HZ Statesman and a VX Statesman at different times and loved my Holdens, the Statesmans were the best.. .
Had a ZG Fairlane XY Falcon and have a Ford Territory but I have to say my i30 is one of the best cars i have had to run around in..love it!
