Hi i brought a i 30 i February 2010 it has done n now 23000 miles and it has had two clutches in it. Hyundai are aware of this problem, and they replace this free of charge, the last clutches is now on its way out again, can anyone tell me if they have had this problem ? Hyundai tell me that they are trying to find a cure for this but now a year has gone by and to date they not contacted me.

Hi woolworth1010 .. Not a common issue on the site..Do you have a Diesel or a Petrol?

I suspect there is another problem with your vehicle that is causing these repeat failures..What does everyone else think?

its possible the clutch is slipping,causing its short lifespan.

Wow, that's amaziing.  I tend to ride the clutch a wee bit at traffic lights (I know, very bad habit),  I must stop doing that.   

I don't believe this is normal, is it ?????

car 3.5 years old and whan damp/cold I've had slight judder but only happens the once then OK for rest of day.

I've posted this elsewhere on the site.

Been in garage but can't pin point issue.

10.000 kms in really heavy traffic haven't caused a problem (fingers crossed).
Reckon it is not the smoothest clutch; car is relatively heavy and sometimes it's hard for me to prevent clutch from slipping (esp. when in a hurry).
