Thanks 2! Almost all of the cars in Korea are either black, white, or silver, so I really wanted something a little different.

Very Nice  (almost black  - is that a very dark blue?) Nice screen too by the way

Yeah, it's a dark navy. Hyundai calls it Indigo blue. It does look almost black in the shade. Thanks for the compliment on the navi. I was really lucky to find a decent housing. Most of the ones I've seen here are too boxy.

@jabber I have no problems with visability whatsoever. All of the other housings I saw here (in Korea) were much worse in my opinion, too bulky and boxy.

@WaJa!?! It's a fairly cheap model, iNavi KL-100 I think. But, I have DMB (free tv here) and a rear view camera, so it's not too bad.

Just a question of curiosity: what means VVT? Is it Variable Valve Timing or other thing?

@Carib  Yeah, VVT is variable valve timing. That's how they designate the petrol (VVT) and diesel (VGT) models here in Korea.

@Eyethirty  Actually, now there are more and more self-service gas stations. Because the prices are so high (~1,900 W) at the moment, they are about 50 W/ liter cheaper, but they still give you the tissues!

My wheels are same as yours. And, your color (dark blue) is great.  Wish I have the similar navigation housing for my i30cw.

As far as I know, there's only one place here in Korea that has that housing. If you really want one, you can go to this website (http://blog.naver.com/navimaul) and try to e-mail the guys. I'm not sure how much English they speak and I know that website is all in Korean, but I'd be willing to help you if you need it. The guy gave me a great discount on it even though I had someone else install it and the navigation.

if there is any luck getting a quote for that housing, could you give me a shout as well? I was looking at this http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260550636758&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT since it seems to be the only decent navigation housing for the i30 on ebay, but a one mould fascia replacement would be even better to stop thieves etc!

edit: also through doing a bit of research, that navi unit has the power switch on the back? How do you turn it off? Or does it automatically go to sleep after a certain amount of time?

The guy told me on the phone that it was 90,000 won (about 77 Aus $) but he sold it to me for 70,000 (60 Aus $). I don't know how much the shipping would be though.

Not sure what you mean about the power. The system is directly connected to the car battery, so when I turn on the car, it comes on and when I turn the car off, it turns off. There is also a button to power down on the screen. The housing has a USB and a SD card slot on the top, so you can connect another device/ media.

Checked the website though it's not English, it's just as the same as the housing of D-Rob, but different from the one (WaJa!?!) at ebay. I'm not sure how to mount my navi into the housing so did not buy it yet. My navi is only 5", wondering it can fit the housing or not.

Just gave the car it's first proper bath, now it's nice and shiny for the warm weather!  Also, changed those terrible "chrome" sun visors on the windows in favor of black ones. Then, got a set of HIDs for the headlights. Fog lights and some interior lighting next month, I can't wait!

Indeed the "chrome" sun visors did not match your car, black one are great   . Will you change the wheels, too ?

Yeah, the fake chrome was definitely not my choice!  I do plan on changing the wheels, but I need to do a lot of research first. I'm still pretty new to this area, so I'm not real sure of the price and quality of new tires and wheels. It would be a lot easier for me to change them in America, but I will probably get all I can out of the stock tires and then move on to some better rubber and sharper wheels.
