Does anyone have any recommendations for an after market sunroof fitting company in the UK?  Beds/Bucks/ Northampton borders.  Being the eternal cheapskate (and needing the headroom) - I'm not sure I want an electric tilt / slide one but just a simple pop-up would be nice.   Mind you a full length webasto would be neat.

In the 80's it seemed every industrial estate had a company who'd fit one but these days they seem to be few and far between.

How ya doing Barry :)

From what I've heard from a colleague of mine (i work for a hyundai dealer) he says that is not the best job. Reason being is that they grind into the roof/headliner, therfore its not the best fit, and a bit floppy, as the headliner was not designed for the sunroof. Only model to every come with a factory fit sunroof was the ES, 2008 . where the roof was designed for the roof.

Its up to yourself, I wouldnt mind it either for myself, but would hate for it to look cheap and rubbish. :/

Like you say Barry back in the 80's you could get a Smoky Glass, hinged pop up sunroof for a few hundred $$ but now they seem to be extinct .. I couldn't justify a A$2500 electric setup but if I wanted to dress up a base model i30 or other car of that ilk (say a getz or somthing) I reckon one of those 80's style sunroofs would be o/k (if they were still available )

I put one in a 1989 Mitsubishi Lancer Sedan and it gave a nice airy feel (mind you I had hair to protect the top of my head back then..) :-[
