Hi, this is my first post, in Poland there is often a problem with rust on the rear hatch door near the light, at the plate. In these cases have replaced the tailgate, or painting in ramch warranty? Sorry for the mistakes, but know the language German and English writing through a translator. Greetings to all forum users.

hi Waldek_144! welcome to the club! sorry to hear about your rust problems ... is it just in that part of the car? do the roads in your place get sprinkled with salt (for the ice)?

My i30 CW is a Czech production in October 2009 year. In Poland, the roads are sprinkled with chemicals, but the problem occurred 4 months after buying the car, it's probably too soon. In two places small bubbles of rust, under warranty painted rear tailgate. More than a year has passed and everything is o.k. At other users Hyundai i30 and i30 CW painted flap was the second time. I wonder if only in Poland is such a problem if the users in other countries also have such a problem occurs. Greetings to all, again sorry for the mistakes.

We have had a few members with Czech built cars that have had paint problems but not specifically on the hatch/rear door part...We can understand you so it is OK  :goodjob:

Unlike me

Really, the problem of tailgate spot corrosion becomes serious. Probably it is a defect of paint coats. Fortunately it is only on rear lids, but they can be mad

Hi Waldek...

Sorry to hear your having problems.  I believe mine is a Czech built model, I need to look at the VIN, I will check my paint tomorrow see if it is all OK.  I live in England and we've been heavily salted this winter because of very heavy snow.

I hope you get yours sorted out soon.

Asa
