That is a concern.
I took it to mean a general blend that they might use for many different types of vehicles they service, without regard to meeting specific requirements of each manufacturer.
I got around it by using their mobile service so I was there when the service was performed.
And later, I went to my own trusted mechanical workshop.

This is a bit of a worry for me. What is this "blend", a blend of different oils from different manufacturers.

I'm assuming a "blend" means a mixture of base oil plus a dash of this and that to make a "brand" oil - a marketed name oil.

This is how all oils are made. Nothing sinister here Phil.
