My good news is that he had his outpatient visit today and has been given the all clear. There is no damage to his heart and he can stop the medicine.

Thanks for the good wishes. No, we didn't think about the trip too hard. Because we went in Viv I drove, so he just sat and relaxed the whole way. He did have a whine about how much walking we did while we were there, but not because he was unwell.
